Don't forget to replace the anti-drainback valve every second fluid change, or at least pull it and clean it if you reuse it.
Also use the new O-ring supplied with the black plastic filter. Sometimes the old O-ring gets stuck in the filter neck hole, make sure it comes out with the old filter.
