You gotta ask why are so many Hemi's failing? Are we expecting too much of the basic design... or is the manufacturer cutting corners in production and using inferior metals in construction to save a few bob on every build?

It is a lottery no doubt with any engine, we read of some owners ticking over 200,000 even 300,000 MILES with their Hemi's with no more than basic servicing.

Yet others fail at well under 100,000 miles! Go figure...

Trust you get an early resolve JD...

Why these hemi lifters are failing is the $64 thousand dollar question.!? Less zinc in oils, engineering gremlins ,low oil pressure at idle plus many more!
Suffice to say,new crate motors ,Jeep dealer serviced motors ,all failing .
How ever when you take into account that the very similar roller lifters in the Chev LS1s are having the same failures, just maybe not fit for purpose!
