Where to buy Rock Rails for WH Grand
Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone has a red hot tip on where to purchase rock rails / sliders for my WH Grand without having to pay back part of Gillard's stuff ups???
I know of various places to purchase them from, but they seem to be very pricey.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers, Craig

HI Craig,
I know that Stu Murchison has access to these:- http://4xguard.com/grand-cherokee-20...ck-rails.html#
Not sure how much they are but I like the look of them as they don't protrude much lower than the original plastic sill guards. I think they even have a set that includes a bit of a step also. Not sure of the price but you usually get what you pay for. If you find someone local to make you a set of rock rails I would be interested also so we might be able to get a better price for 2 sets in lieu of just the one. We ere you happy with the way your GC performed when you went bush the other weekend? Pictures looked good. Catch you later.

Hi Chris & GT Grand,
Yes, I was aware that Stu has the sliders. Just putting it out there to see if anyone has knows of a cheaper alternative.
Chris K - was wrapped how the Jeep performed last weekend. The QD11 system is awesome. Never felt like I was in trouble.

Custom made Rock Rails
Hi all,
I have been put onto a bloke that custom makes bars, snorkels (in steel), sliders etc. He is a mad keen 4WD nut himself.
He is going to make me a set of sliders similar to the 4xGuard ones, but with the tubular rail as well.
He is situated on the Mornington Peninsula Vic.
If anyone is interested, please PM me.
Cheers, Craig

Update
Just an update from my previous post.
Dropped off my vehicle yesterday to the guy that is doing the rock sliders. He took some templates etc and is making a start.
Should be done & fitted by the end of next week.
He is doing a full sill replacement with the tube rail on the side. This will give more clearance than the ones that go under the sill, and will look heaps better.
If anyone else is interested, let me know as I am getting him to keep templates to make it easier for his next build.
Cheers, Craig
