After owning this TJ since new in March 2006, it is finally time sell. It is a black Golden Eagle edition in a 'still as new' condition, and the very last of the TJ's produced. There are the expected features of this model, including:
- 6speed manual
- Black hardtop with black window tint
- Full-sized hard doors with wind-up windows
- Golden Eagle badging on bonnet sides
- Golden Eagle stitching into the front seats
- Upholstery in mid and dark grey (unique to this edition)
- Leather bound steering wheel

- Sound bar
- Auto-darken rearview mirror with digital compass
- Air-conditioning
- Alloy wheels (grey spokes with the chrome lip...Echo wheels I believe they're called)
I have just replaced all the tyres with brand new Goodyear Wrangler GSA's, and the spare tyre has never been used. A full wheel balance and alignment has also been done.
It has been a fantastic and reliable vehicle, with only two items failing in the 5.5 years of owning it...a fuel cap which seized on, and the drivers outter door handle coming adrift. These were replaced under warranty. Maintenance wise, it has been fastidiously looked after by myself (a former BMW and Jaguar technician), with a 'no expense or effort spared' approach. There are no issues whatsoever with this vehicle, and will be supplied with a current Victorian RWC at time of sale.
For the bulk of this vehicles life, my mother has been using it as her run-about, and the klm's are genuine country klm's which reflect that. It has gone very light 4x4'ing only a handful of times (got another toy for that stuff), never been abused or thrashed, nor been involved in any crashes, bingles or carpark scrapes.
The reason for selling is genuine, as mum is too sick to drive any more. I commute with a motorbike, have a 2nd bike, and also have a larger diesel Land Rover, so really have no need to keep another vehicle that isn't being used.
