2004 GC Vision series with warped front rotors for the second time in 18months.Not bad but can feel it on the brake pedal.
Should I be replacing the calipers and with what? is there a permanent fix for this, any feedback is welcome.Tx
I have used DBA slotted, they warped after 12months and most recently standard rotors, these were fitted about six months ago and I can feel the start of the rotors going by the feel on the brake pedal.
I don't think it has anything to do with my driving honestly,I haven't owned another vehicle that requires rotors as often.
Everytime you do pads you should machine rotors. That is an unfortunate part of owning a heavy vehicle which relies on brakes for nearly all stopping. This goes much the same on all newish vehicles that are auto trans even our 4cyl Camry. The rotors should not vibrate before pads are due. Changing the calipers will most likely make no difference.
he has a WJ they all ready have 305mm why go smaller ? and what about the different stud pattern?
