Default WK2 new tyres

I'm getting the laredo with 18inch rims. Any reason why I shouldn't fit new tyres which are slightly bigger 265/65R18 Bridgestone A/T Revo 2 versus standard 265/60R18. The increased diameter 26.5mm is within the 4WD tolerance of 50mm..

I cant get these $319 a tyre delivered

Just checked that this is the only brand supporting this size in Australia. Cost unknown and 6 month waiting time..

Spoke to Cooper today about the possibility of 265/60R18 AT3's in a LT (light truck) version for a WK2 and was told "on our wish list but unlikely to happen"

Told them (Cooper) with the uptake of WK2's currently in Australia that that was something they ought to be looking at.

If other people phone them and ask the same question, eventually we will get a result

Don't know if it would fit around suspension bolt on front or in wheel well, but the Mickey Thomson 5 Rib ATZ LT275/65R18 is light truck and mine (in 17") have been fantastic. done 12000kms and are only just on the verge of needing replacing. AT3 come in that size too.
