Default My "spare" '96

got me a spare, its a non-runner atm, no reg, but seems a good'un.

a Limited 4/96 in White, (mine is a black Sport 10/96)

It has OBD11, ABS, lift kit, alloy bar, ok Hancock MT 30 x 9.5
seems well-looked after, better than mine really

price was absurdly low

bad is brake Master cyl is off car, and "fuel pump is failed, with tank full of black scum" (according to owner)

So i will have to drop the tank.

has factory rear towbar, and it seems I also have to drop this first?

When I blandly told my Mrs had bought another Jeep, my ear was in more danger than a byron bay surfer, the other blokes Mrs spoke of white trash..why are good-looking women so virulently against the odd spare car

what manafacture is this front bar?

height of vehicle at top of roofracks is ~1730mm a Limited, on 30 x 9.5

wheel centre to lower lip of flares, anyone know if those Red springs denote any particular lift kit or height?

Your a real enthusiast when you own more than one.
My missus was happy when the second one arrived. I simply let her drive it and registered it in her name. Now she receives gifts like winches etc.

took a slight risk on this one, got it for next to nothing, probably too good to wreck.
If I can get it going easily, it may well be rego and used.

Its amazingly clean underneath, no oil leaks at all, noticed it has extractors too, I can have it blue-slipped thru my mechanic mate.

Mrs Commodore has nearly 300k and a intermittent, but bad miss for over 100k!

lol then would need a 3rd for spare parts

I actually went and pillaged more items off a black one, like bonnet and rear tailgate rubber seal, cost me nothing extra.

had International Scouts for a few years, and as parts were scarce, bought a couple of wrecks, never spent a cent on new parts...wish I'd kept some D44 tho.

Sold a disc brake Dana 60 out of an IH D1100 cheap once, didnt understand what I had, could of sold dozens!

I've had a few Commodores. Had a similar problem with the wife's ute like that and it was the fuel injection module. About a hundred bucks for a new one.
I regret selling a lot of things in the past. I still let things go for FA.
