Default sale of soft tops

I've been thinking of selling my never used soft top and was just wondering if anyone has managed to sell theirs (seeing that every one gets one with a new wrangler).

If so was it through ajor, ebay, trading post ?

Also if not too rude what did you get for it or around about.

cheers

I just cant bare the thought of leaving the soft top on while the jeep is on the street while i work.

I work in brunswick and find thought of coming back to a slashed soft top not much fun.

aussiebum,
It might be an idea to hang onto the soft top for a bit longer. Sooner or later those that use the soft tops will need to replace them.
I'm thinking of selling mine too. With the dusty roads here, it will never be used. Will probably wait 6-12 months before trying

Yeah well , I'm looking for one in Brisbane just in case mine gets torn but I can't afford big bucks, I bid on one on E-Bay but the seller pulled it from sale, mine was the only bid and it had reached only $100. I'm also considering if anyone has a damaged one, I have a mate who can use the mountings to make a canvas Bikini top.

I have a 4 door one for sale at the moment as I have 2 of them. I think from the dealer they are around the $2000 mark or more and you see the ones on Quadratec etc and they go for around the $1200 USD mark. At the end of the day it will only be worth what someone is willing to pay for it!
