My ZJ
I stumbled into owning a Jeep (Ex Landdozer Man & still love my old 60 series). I have had several different 4wds over the years, all dozers & pootrols all modified in one way or another. However I am now a Jeep addict with the ZJ, FJS & CJ6 in my garage.
As my sig states :
Lord Help Me I'm into JEEP!
The ZJ started out stock as a rock when I met a couple of SJC guys while hunting for parts.
I drove it stock on a few runs & was totally surprised how good it handled itself. But watching others drive past me because they had better suspension got to me pretty quick.
I ended up at WOODERS wasting a sh*t load of their time, until I made the decision to go with a 3.5" RE Super Flex Kit but with 4.5" Springs.
After few months of lay-by payments (as I had a young family to care for at the Time).
I also found a cheap Auto locker 2nd hand but still new in the box.
Over a weekend a mate & I fitted the lift kit & I had the locker fitted.

All done two weeks before Jambo 2010 & had to hit the tracks to test it out.
WOW!!!!
Nearly 12 months, several axles, front drive shaft & front axle CV's I ripped off the mounts of the Dana 30. Enough was Enough.
I was talking WOODERS one night at a SJC Jambo Committee meeting & discussed the problem. Then Dave says "You know I've got some diff's at the shop that would solve you problem"

Long story Short
Upgrades in process:
Replace - Front Dana 30 to Dana 44 with T&T Trussing & Air Locker
- Rear Dana 35 to a Dana 60 with T&T Trussing & Auto Locker
- Regeared to 4.88 & running 35's
Now since going that far I've decided to get rid of the that pesky rear tracking Bar & go to a 4 link Triangulated rear.
To do this I need to stiffen the chassis to give somewhere to mount the new arms to.
I'll get some photos up soon.
