Which Wk2 Grand Cherokee's come with Quadra Drive?

Hi All,

After much contemplation I've decided to buy a Jeep Grand Cherokee, after reading about the different 4wd systems offered I definitely want the Quadra Drive system not the Quadra Track system.

The problem is, when i mention this to dealers they don't know what I'm talking about or give conflicting information. I also tried calling Jeep Aus customer service and they had no idea and said i needed to speak to their dealers.

The jeep aus website also has conflicting information (on one page it says quadra drive is an option, on another page it says it is an option with the adventure pack package, but then on the adventure pack package page there are no ticks next to any of the models?)

So I thought i'd ask here and see if anyone knows the deal.

So here are the questions.

What specfic 2014 models of GC's come with quadra drive on as standard?

What specfic 2014 models of GC's can you option with quadra drive?

What other 2011 to 2013 models came with quadra drive as standard?

Finally, is there any way of telling if a jeep has quadra drive?

I could be wrong however it was my belief that the overland and the trailhawk of all years will have QD2. Everything else has QT2. That being said you can get the adventure pack installed on them all (I think) and it will give you QD2.

QDII is available only in the adventure pack.

My 2012 Overland came standard with QD2 - I did not get the adventure pack. It comes up on the screen when you start the car.

As an option on Limited and Laredo you have to get the adventure pack. Almost everything is standard on the Overland.

Easiest way to tell when looking at a car is to turn the ignition on.
On the EVIC it will display either QT or QD.

As others have also stated, standard on Overland (with or without AP)
Standard on Trailhawk
Optional on Laredo and Limited (comes as part of the AP)

When you start a Laredo with QT it does not show what drive system it has on the dash
