Default cleaning intake manifold

Just getting turbo coolant hose done by my mechanic, went had a look at the inside of the manifold and geez what a mess of oil and soot even at 60k.
I started doing a clean on it and got fair bit out using degreaser but still some inside. Any tips on cleaning out the inside chamber? and can the old rubber gasket be reused ?

If you unpick the rubber seal, and just leave it out, it will return as brand new. I then put the high pressure water hose all inside it as there are lots of areas to get the crud out. Took me ten minutes to finally bring up like brand new. End caps came off after to clean out left over water in the swirl flap rods with air compressor. Pic with seal removed for cleaning

agree with Mousie, did mine the same way. Just soaked with degreaser for a good 10-15mins, high pressure got the rest out. Yep used the same gasket the first time around also. Was in great condition.

Thanks gents, as you said degreaser is your friend!!
What a crappy job,
Re the leaky turbo pipe, turned out the turbo coolant leak was coming from a leaky clamp and all the hoses were ok but i still got the hi temp silicone pipe put in and got all the other 3 hoses changed with new screw clamps.
All the old hoses appeared ok at 60k and their seeping appeared to be from those crappy factory spring clamps.
