I didn't know the front diff flange was different
CRD's have a cup type flange that a plunge type CV fits into. And what are these weights on the diffs? My CRD doesn't have them!
Ok advice time! I am concerned about changing over the flanges.
1. Are the V8 & CRD the same spline on the pinion?
2. Do I run the risk of un-aligning the pinion & ring gear when I change the yoke? I know the torque spec's, is it just a case of removing the old & fitting the new?
3. Should I leave it & modify my new prop shaft to suit?[
