Engine Temperature Sensor for 3.0l Diesel

Hi All,

Just hunting information on the engine temp sensor for the 2014 wk 3.0L Diesel. This is the one that controls the temp gauge in the instrument cluster.
Part no?
Location?
How hard to replace?

I believe it may be referred to a liquid or even oil temp sensor not sure. I don’t think it is the one on the thermostat though? Correct me if I am wrong as that one looks easy as to do.

Had it diagnosed as that was the problem but not sure on which actual sensor it is and where.

Any help would be appreciated.

The one on the dash is coolant temp, its the one under the thermostat, if faulty its supposed to throw a code I believe.............

The above link shows the location of most other sensors as well.

You will require a spanner of the correct size, simple unplug, unscrew, screw new one back in and plug back in...

What was the actual problem though ?? ............. It may just be a dirty/corroded connector, especially is you do engine washes..
