Question 2nd hand Rubicon front axle and transfer case.

A couple of questions for those in the know:

What would you expect to pay for a Rubicon front axle (disc to disc) and a Rubicon transfer case?

How often do these come up?

Thanks for your time, Brad.

$2500 for the complete front diff, and $2000 for the transfer.
Anything more and you are better going aftermarket, ie Dynatrac/Terraflex front end, and an Atlas transfer.

Remember, someone putting a rubi front diff in a jk is still going to have to drop coin on a rear ratio change and locker, and the jeep front end still won't be as strong as one of the aftermarket units mentioned above.

Doubt you'll find them for sale second hand here, maybe bring units in from the us.... But you will have work to do to change the front end panhard mounts etc.

Last Rubicon transfer case that sold here went for $1000, there's been a few sets of rubicon axles sold here for around $3000 the set

The fact that people are swapping OUT the Rubi front axle conforms my opinion that it's not a deirable diff in the first place - so why would you want to swap one in?
