Default Missing CRD badge?

Ok, here's a curiosity question regards the 2012 WK2 diesel.
I bought one a few months back and the sales dude said the only way you would know it's a diesel is from the dual exhaust pipes out the back.
I was in the dealership the other day and the GC diesel on the showroom floor had a CRD badge on the rear. My question is, are there any other WK2 diesels out there with no CRD badge on the rear or am I the only one?

Jim

Before anyone says this a Jeep quality thing, let me say I test drove a new Patrol about a month ago that had a badge on the back door that said Ti, but the side badges said ST. Once inside, it was definitely only an ST.

All the CRD GCs I've seen had a CRD badge on them. Twin pipes can also be the V8.

I think chrysler apply these trim level type badges when they arrive here in Aus rather than at the factory.

Regardless the less badges the better. noone needs to know or even cares that you have a stinky diesel. for me, the soot out my tail pipe tells them enough (JK).

We were at the dealer and saw our 2012 WK2 Laredo CRD as it came off the truck from Prixcars - the customs clearing agents in Brisbane - covered in plastic and with all the shipping stuff still in place.
It had a CRD badge from the factory, and this one at least doesn't put any soot out the tailpipe.

Mine has CRD, but you should check to make sure it is not repaired, as Jeep are known not to have spares. This could indicate a crash repair.

I agree, the less badges the better. There's enough writing on the GC. And are you sure you have a diesel?
