I did that for a while when I had that sagging problem with my 3.5 RE leaf packs. Didn't really help with suspension ride etc but levelled it out. I ended up getting an exptra leaf and a reset done which has made everything good again.

I just dragged a couple of XB falcon leafs out of the scrap heap here. currently have 40mm blocks in the back. One day will replace the second shortest leafs with the ones i dragged out today.
Dont know if I will still use the blocks or not.
Probably you cold just replace one leaf on the sagged side.

Personally I think using a block in one side is a really poor idea as it can lead to odd handling issues due to one spring still having an arch and the other being flat or worse starting to invert.
Where are you located? maybe somebody nearby may have a stock pack or packs that they will let go cheaply that will fix your issue...
