Default WK2 Mineral Grey with numerous paint defects

Mineral Grey built late Jan 2012 and delivered mid Apr 2012 with paint defects. Currently attempting to be addressed by a thorough detailing following inspection by Jeep representative.

I doubt it will remove them but I have my fingers crossed as I won't be accepting having 5 panels resprayed or even a whole car respray.

Three large paint defects on two panels and approx 4 bird dropping run sized defects on three other panels supposedly not ever reported or seen by Jeep before!!!

Anyone else have or come across these?

Two on passenger side front guard

One on passenger side rear door

And numerous of these smaller ones along the drivers side

Bit hard to see the defects, can you take some pics from a bit closer?

it's a bit hard to see the marks in the pics but why would you accept delivery of a damaged car?

Hmmm seems like a simple procedure ......

Always find someone with the goods on this site. Thanks for the link to that site Bazza, great info there for me.

They disappear when you get closer. They are also only visible at certain angles and daylight conditions.

When you get right up close it looks perfect and no different to areas immediately alongside it.
