Default Uptravel on front end

What is the recommended or average amount of up travel you guys are experiencing eg Distance from top of diff bumpstop pad to bottom of bumpstop with stock height, 1" 2" & 3" lift.
I have a 2" lift and only have 2 1/2 inches of up travel.
Looking forward to hearing what ya got.

Hope you're measuring from the metal at top part of bump stop to the top of the bump stop spacers.
I have roughly 3" with a 2.5" lift because I'm running 28" shocks and 3" bump stop spacers.
Depends what you want with it and hence your ratio of up to down travel

That sounds pretty short if you do indeed have a 2" lift gus - do you have some aftermarket bumpstop extensions fitted?

Yes I do Have 2" terra flex bumps top extensions I was trying to offset the lift and avoid coil bind, however I think I should have gone for 1" as I think I've compromised my up travel.
I also think my springs have settled. So I'm contemplating new springs n shocks as my Rancho 9000s are now 40000 km old.
Seriously thinking about 2.5" Flexi coils, koni raids and aev drop brackets.
Whachya reckon?

Depends on the length of your shocks. If your shocks require you to have 2" bump stop then unfortunately that's what you need.

Check out my Ride(s)

I remember my 25in bilsteins and 2.5in flexi coils did not require bump stop extensions (though I fitted 1in just to be safe). That and the AEV drop brackets and Teraflex rear track bar bracket and I had a sweet ride for the next 85,000km. Excellent on and off road.
