An oil leak as you describe usually is coming from the valley between the heads (drain hole at the back of the motor).
Oil builds up over time from either a leaking turbo intake pipe (same leak that kills the swirl motor) or you may have a leaking oil cooler, located in the valley under the intake manifolds. If your intake pipe (air box to turbo) has a red/orange seal at the turbo end, it needs replacing with the updated black seal type.
A degrease of the valley is highly recommended before the swirl motor fails.
