Default Reduced lift

Looking for any ideas on changing out my current 2.5 Flexi coils to something in the 40 to 50mm height. I also run aev drop brackets , teraflex rear trackbar bracket and fox evo shocks. Would my shocks or anything eles be a problem in doing this?
Reason for this is I feel the Flexi coils are just not suited for my needs.

I would worry about the brackets first. If you end up with 40mm height, you're better off removing the brackets. AEV one is designed for at least 2.5" lift, Teraflex bracket is for at least 2" lift.
As for your shocks, you'll have to measure it to know.
May be a good idea if you can explain a little what you don't like about the spring. Co it happens that people who love AEV springs doesn't feel home home when swapped with flex coils.

I've thinking of doing something similar, but I have the hard assed mopar springs with 1 inch spring spacers. Don't shoot me, the spacers where in there when I bought it.

I also have all the relocation brackets, but my only concern is the shocks.

I want to take the spring spacers out to drop to legal height for road worthy, but I'm worried the shocks will be too long and let springs fall out at full drop (obviously failing roadworthy as well).

The only way I can see to know for sure is to clamp the spring, take out the spacer and see if the spring opens enough for the full travel of the shock.

Interested to know if there is any other way to test this....?

No issues with brackets if u don't mind substantially reduce clearance as in theory if the angle of your LCA goes the other way ie slope up you will probably have an even better ride but will look a little odd

What I don't like about the Flexi coils from suspension stuff is the amount of body roll I get especially on the highway. I have the coils that I took out which are OME 621 and 620 which I might put back in

I have read on various us forums that the fox shocks are valves "soft" compared to other shocks on the market.
I would try them with some bilstein shocks.

I have flexi coils with oem shocks and then teraflex shocks and don't notice much body roll. The idea of the varying rate means that they shouldn't roll much.

I don't have much to compare to though. Only really ever been in stock Jeeps otherwise. I guess it's personal choice, I don't like really firm springs.

I drive pretty enthusiastically at times and I certainly don't ever feel the springs are a limiting factor.
