Front or rear? Are the diff ratios stock? Is the diesel auto or manual? Is yours auto or manual?

I used to have a front detroit locker for my JK and I will never go back to auto locker again because once the 4L or 4H is engaged, the locker is on

You need to confirm the diff ratios of both vehicles, the front axle is the same between the two vehicles - Dana 30 (the rubicon has a dana 44 front with lockers already)

The diff centres only change with ratios, there are 2 types
3.54 and numerically lower (eg 3.21)
3.73 and numerically higher (eg 4.11)

Basically if both diff ratios are 3.54 or lower then it will work

or if both diff ratios are 3.73 or higher then it will work

Thats what I think anyway from experience with other diff locks.

see page 11 of the eaton application guide:
guide - click here

Do you have any experience with the lokkas before? I only ask because I've heard mixed things and you cant beat an e-locker to be honest (but more expensive I know!)
