Default Newbie looking to buy WJ/WG

Hi,

I've been looking through the forum for a while as I'm interested in purchasing a WJ GC. 2.7 CRD.
Besides the usual things and checking under the engine cover around the injectors for leakage, what else are the little traps to look out for with these?
- Heater door.

I'm going to look at one this weekend so any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Shane

Take it for a test drive and find a spot where you can flatten it (but be able to pull over safely if you have to) if it cuts out under load it probably has a leaky injector/s. Which may or may not be expensive to fix.

Check the service history. Also, with the latest version of JeepDiag Pro you can check the maximums to see if it's been overheated, and you can do an injector test.

Is that a diagnostic tool? Do you have a link?
