Default transfer case oil

Want to change the transfer case oil in my 2014 gc limited.
What is the best oil to use?
A run down of all oils used in the car would be great.
Already found a number of oils mentioned by dealers etc for the auto trans depending on what brand they push here in Australia.

You have posted in the TJ section - might get a better response in one of the GC sections.

That’s correct ! We could give you a recommendation for TJ oil but it might not be advisable.

I would suggest you bookmark this site http://www.wk2jeeps.com/index.htm for the list on oil type capacities and more, its such a great reference site.............

Transfer case lube depends on which case you have in yours which depends on vehicle model but I would assume you have a FWD with low/high so it would take ATF+4, Penrite ATF FS with a green label is the fella I think.... don't put it in an 8 speed box though.

thanks for the info, sorry re wrong section, on a steep learning curve re jeeps atm!!
Been told i can use the Penrite BMV tranmission fliuld also in the transfer case
or the penrite FS as mentioned.

edit- did the transfer case oil.
Ended up getting the Mopar transfer case oil,
Its a replacement evidently a better oil (not atf4) for the tc.
I was given 2 litres but it was just under the fill hole.
