Default Rear rzeppa replace?

Hi guys, I look to be blessed with double rzeppas on the front and a rezeppa from the transfer case to rear prop shaft on the back of the CRD with the NP247 transfer box

I want to go to a 4" lift so I'm keen to swap them out. I'm pretty clear on swapping the front out, but can't find much about the rear. Is it as simple as getting a new yoke like this https://www.quadratec.com/products/52304_01.ht with a donor tail shaft from a V8?

The front will need a double cardan shaft for sure at 2" lift. The rear at low lifts maintains a good angle but you may find you'll need to move away from the front rezeppa though.

I'd certainly be investigating one of these spacers to help with the pinion angle. I made a 10mm spacer to help improve my angle with a 2" lift.

Thanks Jason. I'm at 2 inches now and the rzeppa is holding up. But I don't wheel it at the moment. I'll be looking to do the IRO front driveshaft conversion.

It looks like I can get a rear double cardan with the slip yoke from a V8 at a wreckers pretty easily. Do you know if i they are interchangeable in the 247 transfer case to swap out the rzeppa? I'm assuming they would be.

V8 uses a slip joint.
You need a 27 spline 1310 yoke and a double cardan shaft if you want to get rid of the rear rzeppa.

I was looking at this. I'd need to check the splines but looks like the slip yoke comes with it. The 247 is in the V8 and CRD so it should be a relatively straightforward swap?

I am pretty sure the XJ shafts fit too and if you're feeling game, the 242 transfer case
At any rate, with that CV on the driveshaft, it will end up munted pretty quickly at any lift, I replaced a few and was just over 2 inches, baring in mind our WJ's are a little higher from the get go than the yank ones so the reference point is blurred.

The 247 from the CRD has a fixed yoke, while the 247 from the V8 has a slip yoke. You can't use the rear V8 driveshaft on the CRD because of that.
