Default JK Unlimited - salesmen providing wrong info

Hello

I have ordered the jk unlimited rubicon. while ordering they told me that the rubis don't come with tint and only come in Manual.

Well I put my trust into the salesman and realised after that they come in either manual or auto - to late now as the vehicle is on the way.

I had done a fair bit of homework on the jk unlimited, knew so much more about the car than the salesman. I asked him about the front bumber and he said "oh I don't think you will be able to fit a bull bar on" we all know you can. So why are these people not doing there job properly and telling us what we need to know about the car. It is so frustrating..

Still trying to find out if the rubicons come with factory tint

I reckon if you have evidence you was misled and you really wanted an auto that could be acheived either through the dealer principal or through Consumer Affairs.

Have you signed the final sale agreement yet? If not then AFAIK you don't yet have a binding contract anyway.

I can not believe how bad Jeep dealers are. They are the same here in NZ and what I see are the same the world over. There is the odd sales guy which takes an interest in what they sell.

...Going off .. Absolutely. There isn't an excuse for that. Incorrect and/or misleading information from a 'dealer' would be more than enough cause I'd imagine to void any order.. and that would only be a problem if the contract was binding.. which I doubt. You want the auto... go to it.

in ordinary retail, you're entitled to a refund if, among other things, you were mislead about the product
