Default Diff hats and Panhard rods

Hi there,
Haven't really had much to do here but am having a lil bit of a prob with the Diff hats on my XJ.

I bought an adjustable panhard rod to suit my Rubicon lift kit(3.5"), and have also bought a Solid brand diff hat for the front. My problem is that I had to remove some of one of the fins on the diff hat to get it to fit. I definately haven't gone too deep as it's only the fin I've removed material from so far.

So... I was wondering if anyone else has struck this problem and if I may need to take more off yet or source another diff hat as I'm not sure if the panhard rod will foul the diff hat when flexed up?

Thanks for reading and thanks in advance for any help given.

Standard problem and no real big deal. Just cycle the front suspension and confirm it doesn't hit at anytime, if it does the load on the panhard when it's sitting on the diff cover can damage the panhard.

Cheers
Steve

Cheers Steve.

Any easy way to cycle the suspension at home with no ramps?
