The Melbourne Jeep Owners Club Rural Response Group needs your help!
Since the devastating fires of Black Saturday MJOC along with many other 4WD clubs have been donating their time and resources to help the fire affected towns get back on their feet.
We now call on you the wider Jeep community for your assistance. We need volunteers who can help out with our working bees held during the weekends, working under the direction and supervision of the land owner or manager. Typically the working bees would be on Saturday from 8am till late afternoon, then Sunday till early afternoon.
Our services provided consist of:
- Cleaning up of properties after the fires
- Removal of debris
- Removal of fire affected wire fencing
- Transportation of stock feed and materials
- Chainsaw work (fallen trees only and only performed by trained and certified operators)
- Dam Clearing and water delivery
- Minor building works
You do not need to be in a 4wd club to volunteer for this work but you will be covered by our insurance if you register with us before work commences.
If this is something that you would be willing to help with or you would like further information please go to
www.mjoc.org.au then click the trips/future events link. Alternatively contact
the following people and tell them you saw us through AJOR.

We hope to get a pool of resorces and contacts for a database that we will continue to send updates to on a regular basis about the work we are doing.
Thankyou in anticipation.
