Default Thinking of getting a JK

Hi All

I usually hang around the KJ area as that's what I currently drive (waits for the torrent of abuse for that! ). Anyways, I am seriously considering getting a new JK Wrangler Unlimited Sport 2.8 CRD Auto. Question is, should I bother? Just wanted to get your thought on the Unlimited and if it is good enough to be a daily and a weekend toy. Go camping alot and have a Pod trailer tent that I tow.

Cheers

Will

I am very happy with my 09 JK Wrangler RUBICON (2 Door). It is my daily driver as well as my weekend toy.

Good fuel economy for a big V6.

If you buy new, they now come with both the hardtop & softop
Or at least i that what i as told.

Definately want the hard top. May also consider a front bar, side step and of course the tow bar (with long tongue). Anyone get good deals OTR?

we have an 07 rubicon unlimited - really happy with it.
the soft top is great for summer, so much easier to just open it up whenever you want. in winter the hardtop is better, its also much more secure.
the extra space of the 4 door is great for camping, or when you need to carry big things in the back with all the seats folded down.

if you're doing more hard core 4wding the rock rails are better suited, but if its moderate offroad driving and camping you're looking to use it for the side steps will be a better option and will help keep the side of the jeep cleaner.
