Default Rain sensing wipers

Hi all.
I had a problem today with my rain sensing wipers. The wipers will not work on the intermittent setting. When turned on they just keep going. I suspect that the rain sensor is faulty. Any thoughts?

Reply appreciated.

Regards Chris

If I under stand correctly you are saying in the intermittent setting nothing happens or are they behaving like non-sensing intermittent wipers.

Any way make sure the rain sense in turned on in the EVIC screen. If that's all good try disconnecting the battery for 5 min to reset the system.

Yeh the sensor is at the top of the screen next to the mirror (but you probably already knew that) a bit of dirt or bug splatter will mess up the system.

Make sure you have the auto function enabled ,set the wipers to the 1st or 2nd position , iv found the system works alot better set this way , also has the screen been replaced & if so is the screen a genuine Mopar windscreen , Genuine will have Mopar printed in the center of the bottom edge of the screen if its non gen the filament in the rain sensor is not the same as the genuine unites & will either be too sensitive or need a bucket of water dumped on it to get it to work .
