hi just wondering how you can tell if a gc is fitted with quadra track diffs besides a badge on the back? test drove one last week, didnt have a 'badge' on the back, but driving it, slow speed tight corners (u turns etc) it seemed to 'spin' the wheels like a diff lock was on. missus was laughing her head off thinking she was doing little cherpies while driving.
Look under gear shifter in white writting..
= Quadra Drive = Vari Lok or Hydra Lok Diff Centre
= Quadra Trac 11 = Open Diffs
If still unsure crawl under and where the diff bolts are on the cover, their a metal tab between 2 side bolts, if its says anything about FM Friction modifier its Quadra Drive.
