Suspension replacement on a budget
Hi All.
The times come to freshen up my suspension.
Budget limits me to $950 which rules out Murchison kit.
Any recommendations. Its stock standard with no barwork and no heavy loads to carry.
It's the family's main car so shopping trolly duties and the occasional beach blast. I'm not after a big lift. Just replace the OEM stuff with maybe a mild lift if it happens.
I was thinking King Springs with Supercheap shocks but am hesitant with the shocks as the reviews and really convincing enough.
Any recommendations from anyone out there.
Thanks in advance.

I’ve heard that the EFS kit is a vast improvement over stock, very close to your budget.

I have the EFS kit and it's ok, but not great. I have some concern about the front springs in mine as they are VERY compressed at rest, I'll try and pop up some pics in the next day or so. I also just swapped out the rear springs for a set of factory 120 series Prado ones and they have increased the lift and made the ride match front to rear. Previously the rear used to feel a bit under-sprung compared to the front.
TJM would be in the vicinity of your price range for supply-only. If you're trying to get that budget for installed suspension I really think you'll struggle.

Diesel or petrol, big difference in front end specs due to the CRD engine weight?
