Why are they always the last to lower their interest rates but the first to raise em, i like the comm bank i been with em for years... last of the major banks to pass on the rate cut.............. GOD DAMN IT

Everybody whinges about the commonwealth bank, yet they still bank with them. The bank is a business with an obligation to the shareholder, but the customer only needs to look out for themselves. So.............why still bank with them? The customer has the power and the choice here. Use it.

Nope they ALL smell bad at some point....Gawd I am glad I no longer work for one.
From memory the Comm Bank was the first to lower their rates last time and ANZ were last......But they all generally have a delay before it's applied to the loans (upto a month).

i have loan repayments deducted from my comm bank acc every friday. And sometimes for what ever reason i dont know, they dont take it out until the monday. So here i go withdraw from the atm on the saturday and it says im still a few hunderd up from what i expected. So i blow it on something stupid and then they take it out on the monday and then charcge me an over draw fee of $30 dollars!
I cant be bothered going to the bank to dispute, it will only happen again. I just gota be more carefull.
