Default Oil Cooler Delete and new Aux Cooler

Hi All

This may interest those towing large vans and want to keep their oil temps around 100 and not 115 to 120.

Its not cheap and would require positioning the cooler and pre-filter in different locations but I think is doable. Using the pre-filter and lowering the oil temp you are increasing the life of the oil change, so could actually pay for itself if you do alot of kms.

From the videos is that oil all over the place underneath the vehicle and on the driveway?
Had issues with overheating towing resolved with aftermarket oil cooler with fan and a PML transmisson pan which without the fan on keeps mine at 80 degrees in city traffic and 75 degree on hiway. Towing on the beach i turn the fan on and stays at 75 degrees.
Also remove my large round spotlights off the ARB bull bar and replaced with a light bar for more air flow.

never seen engine oil overheat though

The Ecodiesel has a Oil Cooler that uses the engine coolant to keep the engine oil cool but cannot keep up under load.

The transmission and its cooler are superior on this car and do not need any extra capacity.

The added benefit of this kit is you are filtering you oil twice as well.
