Default Have welder - will build crap! Side steps and extended sway

Got my first welder, and made myself a couple of things I thought I needed and couldn't be stuffed paying for at retail. Yes, my welding is crap-o-saurus rex, but it's only my 2nd day of teaching myself! I reckon it will hold up.

I have a 3 inch suspension lift, and my sway bar links are the standard stockers. So I cut them in half, and extended them with some angle to allow for the lift.

The next thing I decided I needed was side steps. Women keep complaining about the size of the step to get in my jeep - it's +3" suspension + 2" BL, so it was a problem sometimes, especially when parked on a sloping road. So I rigged up some side steps, very simple, bolted to the body.

Not sure what to make next... perhaps a shovel carrier for the rear tyre, or that cargo barrier with rear grill cage to protect all my gear from sticky fingers.

Dude
Are those side steps finished
What about those sway bar extentions.
I am no engineer but these items are definately under huge
amounts off stress. I dont know how angle iron will hold up.
We will see I guess

with the side steps, i think you should have angled up the step bit that comes out a little, just to give it that sleeker look .............
