Default KMART Seat Covers

Hi Guys,

Does anyone know if the seat covers you can buy at Kmart will fit an 07 Jeep Wrangler?

Looking for some covers but wanting to avoid the hefty pricetag at least for the near future.

Cheers

I'm asking this just because the past few days i've noticed my seats have been quite damp.

My JK is parked outside at night and I thought that the cold was just making the seats damp due to Jeeps not having as much insulation as other cars. Has anyone else had the same problem?

Im thinking I might just have to bite the bullet and buy some canvas seat covers to help with this.

Any advice would be much appreciated

When I had my TJ and only used the top of the soft top, no side or rear window, I would often get dew on the underside of the roof in the morning. Tapping it would then make it 'rain' on the kids.

Haven't had this sort of problem with the JK even with the soft top, except for when I had no top & got rained on...

My TJ sits outside all the time and it is often quite damp inside of a morning as well.

Like you, I've never had the same issue in the JK when it spends the night outside.

As for seat covers, as mines mainly on the beach I prefer the neoprene covers over canvas. They don't mind getting wet and they cost a lot cheaper than canvas ones.

If they ever come on sale again. I'd recommend the Aldi AutoXS ones, heaps of storage in them and fit well. Wiped off the mud from a 4 day high country trip with a damp sponge, no worries. As yours doesn't have side airbags I'd stitch up the outer sides as the airbag side is only loosely stitched together with fishing line. Can't remember the cost but they were cheap and have lasted me nearly 3 years and not looking worn out yet.

Dont ask me what pair, but I went to Autobahn and grabbed a pair.

I just asked the guy that worked there what ones would match, and he said to install in the carpark so if there is any issues I cant bring them straight back.

He did need to have a look at my JKu, and they do only suit the front seat. But for $50 it's better than nothing.

Not quite as cheap as kmart, probably a bit better quality however they're only neoprene, but still better than $199

I bought heavy duty canvas covers for my JK from Autobahn. Cost $80.00.
I too leave mine outside overnight and on really cold mornings the seats feel wet, but they are actually cold.
Must be the canvas, as the seats didn't get wet prior to fitting the covers.

Cheers, Craig
