Unhappy Power Window Regulators

Had the passenger side window of my 2003 WJ drop just in time for the rain in the middle of nowhere, managed to wedgie it up. The drivers side one already went twice but got fixed under warranty. Have taken out the window regulator and motor and the cable and plastic block is broken. Have been quoted from $500 to $800 just for the part which includes the regulator and motor assembly. Have sourced it from www.monsterautoparts.com in the States for $150 US shipped. Could be waiting up to 2 weeks for this though, anyone know of any alternatives in Oz that isn't going to burn a hole in your pocket everytime these unreliable regulators go.

Mate if you can get it for $us150 go for it .My drivers side window cost me $1000 including labour.I did not have the time to stuff around as my Jeep is used everyday.
P.S.The auto electician kept saying sorry for the cost, as he thought ford were expensive at $650.

Here are some excellent instructions for DIY takes less than an hour to do
www.jeepin.com/features/wj_window_regulator/
Then if you really want to save money and fix the problem for good have since found this on the web where the guy makes the plastic block which brakes with aluminium for $25 US plus shipping.
