Default Brissie Zip Repairs

Hi folks,
After putting it off for almost 2 years now, I think the time has come to replace the zips on both my half doors...
Can anybody recommend a good place in Brisbane to do the work...?
(Sothside or city preferable, but it doesn't really matter...)

Thanks...

Not from Brissie but any good motor trimmer can do it for you. I got my drivers window done for $40, but I don't think the bloke knew what he was in for. So realistically I'd be looking at $80 per window, roughly.

BTW I assume you tried all the normal tricks like squeezing the sliders back together? Or are the teeth on the zips stuffed?

Can't help ya TJB, but as Steve said, a motor trimmer should be able to do it. Goodline on 'Old Cleveland Rd' in Coorporoo, might be able to help, dunno?

Let me know when you find someone though, cause both my fronts are stuffed beyond belief!!!!!

Might be a good excuse (if you've got the $$$) to upgrade to some sliders...

Sliders....naaaahhh, i'm happy with the 'tent' feel.
It's just to keep the other half happy, cause she likes to have the window UP during winter night driving....dunno why?????

Really most of the TJ zippers fail becasue of dust and grit in the teeth, try a good silicone spray and a small set of fine nosed plyers to squeeze the slider back together, works almost every time.
