Default After Market stereo help

Hi,
Im looing aqt buying a 7" dvd player and nav for the jeep and been doing so research about what id need to make this as plug and play as possible.

Iv seen the chto-03 interface thing but from what i can see it still has wires on the output that would have to soldered to any new unit im installing.

The DVD player im looking at has an ISO plug with the 12v, ground antenna and ACC as well as he front and rear left and right speakers which in theory should make my job easier.

Now the question is does anyone know where i can find an interface harness liek the chto-03 that acually has the wires already connected to an ISO plug for direct connection?

Sorry if i dont make a huge amount of sense, you can check the player out here, it might give you an idea of what i mean.

I went the same path, but my rig already had an aftermarket unit in it, which I only upgraded. It was wired through PAC C2A-CHY2, which I have reused. Had to cut off the ISO plug and wire everything directly. I have never installed a car radio before, but managed OK.
I had a look at the link.... For the same money you could get a unit with 800x480 resolution, which would be much better to look at, especially when running a GPS/mapping software.

Are you going to run this with the Infinity system or with an upgraded amp and speaker set up?

Also if you have an iPhone you might need to check that its compatible as well. Just because its iPod compatible doesnt mean the iPhone will work. Most times they go to flight mode which means no calls when playing music. Me personally, I would be doing a complete system if your changing the head unit, new Amp and speakers as well as the sub.

cheers

The magic plug you are looking for doesn't exist.

The CHTO-03 is only one part required.
You will also need
40-EU10 European antenna adapter and
95-6511 Double DIN bracket/trim plate

The original Jeep radio has a European radio arial connection and won't plug into your new deck.
Also the Origianl Jeep radio is wider than your new deck so you will need the double DIN trim plate to fill the gaps.

To top it off you will also have to cut a piece of metal out of the dash from behind your radio for the new one to fit as the new deck my be thinner but it is deeper.

There is not alot of room behind the radio especially for all the wires on that one your looking at so when you get it all together be careful not to squash wires and short out your new deck before you get a chance to see it work.

I have the infinity setup, the CHTO-03 will allow the aftremarket stereo to communicate with the infinity amp.

The CHTO-03 plugs straight into the the factory plugs, the only wiring required is a little soldering to connect the ISO from the after market stereo to it.

All works perfectly
