Cool xj windscreen

After a fantastic holiday just kilometers from home I have had a chunk of Bruce Highway smash the front windscreen. Before I go ahead and have it replaced does anyone out there know of any "traps" that I should be wary off (e.g. companies that supply windows that don't quite fit, does the rubber have to be replaced? etc.)
I would be most appreciative of any advice as I don't want the hassles of a poor job, part later om
Cheers,
purplexj

Hey..

I recently had myne done by instant windscreens for $300 including a new seal (genuine only).. the windscreen is ok.. instant windscreens isn't.. there service is useless and I still have a air noise at anything above 80km/hr despite taking the car to them 3 times.

Instant windscreens said that a new seal is fairly nessessary on Cherokee's usually.. but that could be BS

Thanks Guys,
I appreciate the replys, looks like windscreens might be like brakes, if you go to someone who doesn't know what they are doing then you will end up with mystery noises. I'd love to go to Perth to get it done but I don't think the accountant will let me. Does anyone in Brisvegas have knowledge of who to go to for the job to be done properly?

Hey FredE thanks for the advice I'll have to chase them up as the crack on my windscreen is right in front of the drivers view which is a real pain especially when the sun catches it.
