Default WK Cherokee rim swap

Hey guys - I have a mate who has a brand new WK Cherokee with the 20" rims and we want to buy a set of rims to put the 'weekend' tires on. We tried my 2010 JK spare but it doesnt clear the front calliper. Does anyone know what other 17" Jeep rims we should be looking for to buy second hand to put on?

Cheers

No such thing as WL (yet). WK2 can't take 17" rims, must have 18" because of the caliper sizes. US has smaller calipers on lower models which allows 17" but no can do here.

Yes but WK here = WK2 in the US.

I wish they didn't do this, they made it so confusing. So when someone says WK, I ask US or Oz? If they made it WK2 in the US as the next model up from WK, they should've done the same here WH2. I wonder what the logic is behind it...

But yeah, as Bomber said, you have to go for 18" rims.

As far as I was aware it's the WK2 in OZ as well. People just shorten it to WK, which confuses us WH (WK in US) owners who buy WK parts from the US for their WH's.

I think WL was just a typo as L is beside K on the keyboard.

Nope ... It's officially WK in export markets and WK2 only in the US. But we should just call them WK2 and be done with it.

CRDSTU has managed to fit 17" AEV rims to a WK2. There are pics on his website. It's the mineral grey one here ... http://www.murchisonproducts.com.au/...php?gallery=13
