Default WJ: BROADZ Grand Cherokee Limited. Another crazy audio build

Good Morning,

This is the replacement for the DUBZ Patriot show / road car I had.

Its a 2001/02 Grand Cherokee Limited 4.7 V8 2nd owner with a lowish 130,000kms and has always been garaged.

I'm setting it up as more of a tow car/cross country tourer than serious offroader

My intentions are as follows:

2 inch BB lift + shocks
Avila 17 inch wheels with 30.5" m/t tyres
MCC, Ironman or ARB Sahara style single loop winch bar
Custom made low profile roof rack
40" LED light bar
K&N dual pod intake with airbox delete
Dual Optima battery system

Audio:
Clarion HXD2 headunit
Clarion 6 disc optical stacker
Clarion EA1251 Ipod adaptor
PAC Steering wheel interface
Crescendo Sonata 6 Channel amp
Crescendo Sonata 4 Channel amp
Crescendo MG6 midbass
Crescendo MB3N midrange
Crescendo T2RB tweeter
Crescendo Etude 2.10 sub (x2)

This will be another "all out" sound quality car with focus on the sound rather than just the looks like the patriot was.

Really? thats some damn good gear!
P99 is my only natural "step up" if I decide to upgrade the ancient HXD2 to something that does mp3, BT, proper ipod etc. I used to have all Morel, now my Supremos are going in the GTS which I'm also building and my Ultimo is now for sale.

I'm not sure if you are aware but the Zed Leviathan are prone to reliablilty issues involving costly repairs or send back to the USA. You might be lucky and get a good one but if you havent already bought it, the Crescendo Sonata 6 is smaller and has "almost as much" power. I think its around the $800 rrp
Is all of the gear going in your JK?

Well the ultimo doesnt completely suit my needs as with the new setup I''m limited to only 300w RMS per sub channel (so either 2 single voice coil subs or a 1 dual voice coil) and I want a complete brand matched system: all Crescendo.
As such, each 10 inch Etude 2.10 subs (x2) will run from a bridged pair of channels from the Sonata 4 Channel amp.

The Ultimo is an awesome sub no doubt and it will most likely be a slight downgrade in all out SQ however dual tens will be louder than a single ten based on cone area.

Rear Speakers

Front Speaker wiring through factory loom plug (I love how simple it is to run wiring into the door)

Dynamat covered doors

Angle Cut 6x9 - 6.5 inch adaptor (lots of trimming of the inside of the door trims required)

Speaker wiring all labelled (150mm distance between labels the whole length of each cable) and ran down passenger side in one 12 core loom, techflexed.

Sub box complete, awaiting matching Jeep carpet.
Temporary Soundstream Davinci 7 channel amp (until my Crescendo Sonata amps arrive in a month or so) Amp rack is only temporary and trimmed in some non matching carpet I had spare from a previous install
