Default Teraflex Shocks

I'm just wondering if anyone has had any experience with the Teraflex vss 9550 shocks. I'm looking at getting some 1.5inch lift flexy coils, and I'm chasing shocks to suit.

My jeep is a JK Unlimited CRD Auto, with ARB Bullbar and the hardtop. It's my daily drive, and offroad it's mainly used for beach driving.

I've read through a few forum posts about the bilstein 5100s being fairly firm on the road, so I'm looking other options.

Are the teraflex shocks just as firm? Are they more suited to linear rate springs rather than progressive? Are there other shocks that I should be looking at?

Just out of curiosity, has anyone actually used the ironman shocks? What are they like?

Any info would be appreciated, thanks

I'm running the Tera Flex shocks, I like them big improvement over stock. Seem to be a little softer ride than stock, also absorb the bumps a lot better. The Jeep seems a lot more settled a lot less jittery over the rough stuff. I think for the price they are very good.

The Teraflex shocks are designed to work with the linear spring that Teraflex sell. WE have sold many and are a better than stock, shit anything is, but arent the be all and end all. But for your lift and application, sounds like it will work. And at $360 for 4 pretty good value!
