Default Would this work ?

Hi all,
I have four lights that I want to wire to one switch using two relays.I have looked at how to wire the lights most are two lights to a switch.

I was wandering if the wiring in the diagram would work?

Yes mate, spot on. Though if you are wanting to run them all at the same time I would just get a better realy, ie, 60amp for example. If you already have the two relays then go for it as per your diagram. Spot on :)

Yes and no... Are these "dual make SPST" relays? If so, as far as i'm aware, yes, but you won't need to join them back up to each under, like where you have indicated under the 'lights' text at the top of you diagram. Also if this is the case, you should have an 87 and an 87b, not 2x 87.

Otherwise if they are traditional SPDT relays, then you will have one pair on all the time without being switched on, and the other pair on when switched on with the first pair off.

See the12volt.com for more info.
