Default Leaking Freedom Top

Need advise for DIY fix. Had JK back to Jeep 3 times under warranty which is now finished and still leaking. They said that the whole seal had been replaced twice and not to overtighten the locking screws. Main leak is from passenger side freedom top joining the rear hard top, right in the middle. The leak runs across the sound bar and pools in rear passenger footwell area. Any advise would be appreciated.

mine used to do that when I over tighten it. it obviously still leaks slightly but not enough to hit the floor, water only drips out now when I go up extreme inclines.
cheers piggy.

Sometimes its not the seal or how tight the locking screws are, but how the seal is stuck down . They use double sided tape and its not one continuous piece. Mine had a little gap in the double sided tape and the water ran in that way. so check the seal that its stuck down properly ... and no gaps in the tape....

I sympathies with you. It's a common and annoying feature of the wrangler, if it's new or old! does not matter. Its mentioned in many US forums all the time, so you would think Jeep would do something to fix it.
I took my 12 model back 2 weeks ago and their excuse was I had squashed the seal, which I knew was crap as I knew correct process - you need to place the panels straight etc etc
Now It pools about 1 inch of water in drivers side foot well. I even get a bit in the all floor panels but I think the source is the same.
I'm taking it back to the dealer again this week.
I'm quite sure I know where it runs in, Seems to leak from the t-intersection (B Pillar) where the front and rear panels meet. Seems to be a poor design to start with. Any way, instead of the water running out side the door seal it runs inside the seal and runs down the frame and under the plastic trim, around where the seat belt mechanism sits on the floor. It then runs along a channel to wards the foot well.
It seem incredible that you pay over $40k and get a leaking roof.
I hope to get this fixed as my Jeep stays outside all the time.
