I am thinking that the MY14 now properly passes this test only because of electronic software updates to the stability control systems (perhaps I'm wrong but the suspension, tyres, wheels, and braking systems are the same as the MYs 11,12&13)?

So I wonder if Jeep can fix the previous models with a software update at the next schedule service? I hope so anyway.

I believe this test was pretty much discredited as no one else could replicate it and indeed they themselves couldn't replicate it when asked to in the presence of accredited testing agencies. Or at least, that's what I read on the web so it must be true. If I wasn't so lazy I'd go find the original reports!
