Aren't these kits technically illegal under ADRs?

Probably thinking of HIDs....which are difficult to legally retrofit due to the requirement for self leveling and washers.
LEDs aren't necessarily illegal.....depends on the beam pattern.....like LHD Euro beam pattern would be illegal here.
There is also a new Vision X headlight similar to the JW Speaker in design and price that has a great looking beam, and the option to run both low and high beams together for vehicles that usually switch the low beam off when hi beams are active.

I would personally prefer the truck lites to be honest based that photo. Less brightness/glare up front but still a good distance for spotting wayward wildlife.
Has anyone got an opinion on just running either of these headlight upgrades as a stand alone versus one pair of spotties with stock lights?
The idea of having a spotlight like highbeam for highway/country driving instead of mounting spotties with the air restriction definitely appeals.

The JW speaker one in the pic is gen 1 thou. The beam pattern for gen 2 is much better.
