Default Shrunken soft top

So, I've put the soft top on for the first time in 3 years ... Seems to be about an inch short at the front. (Yeah, I know, that's what she said.)
Anyway, has anyone else had this? How did you fix it? I'm guessing leave it out in the sun and wait until it all heats up.
The side windows also won't zip all the way around, it's like those panels have shrunk slightly as well.
The soft top is basically brand new, only ran it for a week when I first purchased the car, it's been stored since then.
Cheers!

I put mine on again after giving it a miss last summer and definitely needed stretching. I find sometimes on my JKU that a small extra force on the middle section helps push the front into the latch. An extra person would probably help.
Best option though is leave it in the sun for a while! I've also heard some lubrication on the zippers helps and I think mine would benefit from it now as they can be a bit difficult if I use them in the morning.

Cheers, the Zips themselves are fine, smooth as. It's the windows that need to stretch

Lay out in the sun on he driveway......I'd say it needs to be nice and hot to stretch back into shape.

When my soft top was new I had the same problem. It was just too tight.
The only way I could get it on was to clip the header and then with someone helping me pull the back down did I manage to get it on. It was after the the back was all clipped in place and the windows installed that I clicked the header latches closed. This was in January too, it felt unnatural to pull it that tight and it seemed like something would rip or break but It slowly came good. I'd hate to try this in the middle of winter.

Mine was exactly the same when new and I fitted it the same as above. After about a month it was nice and loose
