Default WH V6 CRD Swirl Motor

I am looking for a Swirl motor for my 2005 WH V6 CRD. I have been quoted $1900 plus fitting. Does anyone know where to get it cheaper in Brisbane.
cheers

The swirl motor apparently, is only used at low revs for emissions reduction,.

Some people have been known to unplug the electrical connector, located neear the turbo inlet, and insert a resistor. This fools the computer, into thinking the swirl motor is o.k.

Another thing worth checking, is that the turbo inlet pipe, is the all black update one. Not the one that has an orange seal at the turbo inlet.

Google the info, it is well reported on most jeep forums.

I have to head out, otherwise I would chase up some links.

Yep an old mod now even used on the WG CRD and just about any modern MB engine as they all use the same swirl motor. There are no obvious downsides to disabling it and it always defaults to fully open. A 50 cent mod is far better then a 4 figure replacement swirl motor.
