Angry Shuddering diesel

Hi all, have recently purchased a new 2015 Grand Cherokee Laredo 3.0l diesel. At about the 7 week mark,(3000km,) a shudder occurred from the motor. 1st time was just for a couple of seconds. It happened again a few days later and the day I took it back to the dealer the motor was shuddering or running rough for the duration of the trip. I also experienced the car not starting when the 'start button' was pressed on multiple occasions, not even cranking. The dealer has now had my car for over 5 weeks and acknowledge the rough running, but so far haven't been able to diagnose, let alone fix it! . Any advice on the problems would be appreciated. I seem to remember another member had similar problem, think they traced it down to a faulty/bad injector wiring.

Here's the thread, but it is more specific to idling as opposed to driving:

There were a couple of different fixes:
wiring loom for the glowplug control module shorting out
new countermeasure common rails have fixed my rough idle problem
