Trusted mechanic recommendations

Hi

I'm new to the forum and have looked around the forum for recommendations for trusted mechanics to get my Jeep service.

I can't see a sticky or a forum just for recommendations. - would it be possible to start one where people can post their recommendations?

I know many of us love our Jeeps, want to look after them but don't necessarily have the mechanical knowledge to service them... and can't realistically afford dealership servicing

I'll start it off... can anyone recommend a good mechanic in Melbourne South Eastern suburbs that is honest, reliable, does a good job and doesn't charge like a wounded bull

HPF in Dandenong do mine now...best thing I ever did.

My missus keeps at me to ask them what car wash they use to wash the car after its serviced cos it looks better than when she cleans it.
